Vicki Sun
Vicki, a registered nurse in Singapore, holds a Bachelor of Nursing from La Trobe University in Melbourne. Her journey into the realm of complementary alternative medicine was through her personal exploration into managing irritable bowel syndrome and navigating life’s stresses.
In 2009, Vicki obtained her Certificate and Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, completing rigorous training under the professional guidance of the London College of Clinical Hypnosis in collaboration with Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Her commitment to continuous learning led her to undergo Advanced Intensive Training on Ericksonian Approaches to Hypnosis, conducted by Dr. Brent Geary at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Hypnosis to help draw inner resources
Her approach involves using hypnosis to help individuals gain insights into current challenges, drawing on their inner resources for resolution, fostering positive changes, and cultivating a healthier and more satisfying life. Beyond hypnosis, Vicki imparts the Emotional Freedom Technique to her patients, viewing it as a valuable tool for their personal healing journeys.
Hypnosis as both an art and a science
Vicki views hypnosis as both an art and a science. She seamlessly combines her nursing background with the principles of hypnotherapy, striking a balance between compassionate care and evidence-based knowledge rooted in scientific and psychological foundations. Clients can trust in her expertise, benefiting from her safe guidance and absolute confidentiality as she facilitates their journey toward achieving personal goals through the transformative, empowering and relaxing experience of hypnosis.
Vicki’s dedication to her profession was honored with the Long Service Medal under the National Day Award Singapore in 2014. Actively contributing to the community, she serves as an executive member of the IBS Support Group Singapore.
